“Somewhere on the spectrum between Old Crow Medicine Show and Mumford and Sons lies the spirited bluegrass-based artistry of The Way Down Wanderers. It is joyful, daring and occasionally sublime.” Associated Press

The Way Down Wanderers will be making their second journey to the historic Astra Theatre in Jasper on Saturday, November 23. Doors for this performance will open at 6:30 p.m. with the Indianapolis-based band Bigfoot Yancey scheduled to open at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale now at www.TheNextAct.org.  Reserved seating tickets on the main floor and balcony are $14.95 with a $29.95 VIP option. The VIP ticket includes preferred parking in the Matrix parking lot, a $5 concession voucher, and a 30 minute pre-show meet-and-greet with the artist.

The band shows off their truly unique style with an eclectic genre of music, a high octane of energy in their shows, and the engagement of their fans during performances. Their distinctive sound draws on elements of bluegrass, touches on classic rock influences, and surprises with elements of jazz, classical music, and even hip-hop.
