Twenty-year comedy veteran Costaki Economopoulos has been described as a “casually brilliant joke philosopher” by a fellow comedian. His light swagger, playful squint, and and wry smile alert you to identify if perhaps there’s more to Costaki’s multi-layered jokes on topics ranging from parenting and football to pirates and rice cakes.
Costaki began to make some comedic noise by reaching the finals of the Seattle Comedy Competition and being a top ten finalist in Comedy Central’s Laugh Riots National Talent Search. He has performed in all 50 states, at the prestigious Montreal Comedy Festival, on a recent Showtime special, comedy.tv, Last Comic Standing, and NickMom Night Out.
In addition to performing, Costaki has formulated material for The Tonight Show, The Late Late Show, Best Damn Sports Show Period, and Bette Midler’s Kiss My Brass Tour, in addition to other writing accolades.
However, Costaki is easily best known for regular segments on the syndicated Bob & Tom Radio Show, which have spun off into “Quick Snaps” finding a weekly home on Sirius XM Satellite Radio during the NFL season.
In addition to fulfilling Costaki’s dream of “having people come to see his live performances on purpose,” make plans and purchase tickets to attend more of the announced 2019 Next Act, Inc. shows including the 30th anniversary screening of the movie “Major League” on Saturday, April 20.
